ABOUT :

In Toy Factory, teams receive a variety of wooden components that they must assemble and decorate to create a selection of high-quality children’s toys. Participants follow three-dimensional blueprints that guide them through the assembly process, outlining various toy designs. During the planning phase, teams identify parts, manage workflow, take individual responsibility, and establish an efficient production line. After a quality check, the toys are creatively embellished.

In the second phase, teams are encouraged to think creatively as they are challenged to develop engaging and educational games using the newly crafted toys. A lively and informal finale allows each team to showcase their unique activities, enhancing the play value of their creations.

HIGHLIGHTS

Teams are tasked with establishing effective production lines and quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction. Participants gain insights into customer service challenges while recognizing that the toys produced will positively impact real end-users—children in need. Working towards a shared social objective fosters a sense of unity among participants. Whether in a conference breakout session or at the workplace, Toy Factory offers a versatile team-building experience with a focus on community responsibility. All toys and game materials created during the activity will be donated to a local children’s charity, school, or home.

OBJECTIVES

Develop Leadership. Create an environment that encourages team members to share ideas and brainstorm creatively, which is crucial in the toy industry for developing engaging and imaginative products.
